Logo designed for Bequeer, the LGBTQIA+ night party in Perugia. The new logo reflects the history and needs of Bequeer. We focused our design on the letters 'b' and 'q' through a process of synthesis in order to abstract two shapes, a disco ball and an asterisk. The disco ball stands for Bequeer as this safe space that is dedicated to queerness, community, and fun, and breaks social norms in doing so, which is a political statement itself. The asterisk is an Italian symbol used for non-binary, non-conforming identities that can be put at the end of words to make our language inclusive and gender-neutral.
