Esc is the book designed to present the homonymous collection of urns and tombstones by Emanuel Gargano at Tanexpo 2020 in Bologna. A catalog in which the product photography mixes with the lyrics of Mauro Mela. A visual and phonetic story at the same time, done in grayscale, in which the recurring double-page spreads merge with the photographic and vice versa. The book wants to retrace the same trip to which Gargano's work alludes. The essential design of the whole collection refers to the eternal, to becoming corporeal. The use of white and gray in the book highlighted that kind of narration.
